Latvian VEF I-16 ??
Sure is mate! :ok:

Sinco TC has declared OPEN HOUSE.

SincoTC 15th Aug 2011 19:58

It's been quiet for a long while; so I'll reclaim my OH and put this up while I'm monitoring a rather slow SC.

SincoTC 15th Aug 2011 20:12

Well done; it didn't take long to bring that one down!! :D

It is the UH-60 Blackhawk

Avionker has control :ok:

Avionker 15th Aug 2011 20:23

Thanks SincoTC. Didn't see this one in the list, so hopefully not done before

No takers? Ok, it was the Kawasaki T-4.

SincoTC 17th Aug 2011 22:46

Thanks Avionker; sorry you didn't have any takers, I was going to ask for a clue, but PPrune's website appeared to be down for a very long time yesterday and I couldn't get on (looking at the lack of posts for that timescale on their other forums I don't think it was local to me)!

I'm off to bed now, so I'll leave the Open House for someone else to pick up :)

Looks like a Junkers D.1 in the background, so that probably dates this late 1918 and German. Total guess here, Hannover CLIII?

Noyade 22nd Aug 2011 08:57

Hi Kitbag.

Junkers D.1 in the background
Could be mate. I'm not sure. The photo is at Martlesham Heath in 1917 and some of the instruments are British.

German.
Most definitely. Captured.

Hannover CLIII
Not a Hannover.
If the the camera were further back, this is what you would see...

Noyade 22nd Aug 2011 09:48

No mate......

RegDep 22nd Aug 2011 10:28

Maybe it was only a bit off. Can I swap an I to a .?

Like C.V

Noyade 22nd Aug 2011 10:34

Why, yes you can Reg....

LVG C.V?

Sorry, no.

RegDep 22nd Aug 2011 10:39

Hey, you must be related to my primary school teacher :(. She never understood when I write something and meant something else. I clearly meant DFW C.V

Noyade 22nd Aug 2011 10:42

DFW C.V
:ok:

Your control.....Reg?

RegDep 22nd Aug 2011 10:43

Thank you Sir. It was your clues, not me really, so Open House!

6th Anniversary of this thread.

It will soon be the 6th Anniversary of the "What Cockpit" thread which was first started by Mr_Grubby on the 28th Sept 2005. Over those years we have had some 1500 different cockpits to identify. I am sure there are still many who cannot resist a challenge. Well here is another to keep you going:-
