It's a US made Liberty DH-4 - interestingly the engine to power the DH-9A. Over to treadigraph.

Ah the Scruggs Wonderplane images cannot be found on the internet.
But rumour on Britmodeller has it that Airfix would do a kit on on the mark Vb or the mark VII in the famous 5/119th scale model series.

Are we guessing the truck or the aircraft? Again, full photo would be better than 'guess the aileron'. If logos, markings and insignia are give-aways then one can always clone brush them out or obscure in other ways. Might attract and retain a wider audience too.
My guess for the second photo is that it's the nose and engines of an aeroplane. Do I win?

The RAF didn't have a high-wing twin like that so, looking at the roundel, I searched Australian aircraft. Up came this in a long list:
A14 Wackett / Tugan Gannet
Australia Twin-engine seven-seat transport, photographic survey, air ambulance aircraft 1935–1946 Six aircraft

If the truck can fly (see title of thread) then by all means ID it.
It's not easy with some of these designs to find pictures that don't give the whole game away so I'm afraid they have to be cropped - tho' as Dook has seen - there is a give away in the original pic...............................
