Well that didn't last long! This is a planned approx 15% scale fully-flying model of a Convair B-36. The fuselage diameter is approx 24". The builders told me when I visited Sept 2015 it will have enough lift/power to carry two people, although it will of course be unmanned.

Got lucky there, started down a rabbit hole of a vintage racer, then realised that the "cockpit" cutout wasn't!

I once posted the bottom end of the tailboom of the Edgley and it was solved at the first post.
Apperently the cockpit is not it’s only recognizable feature.
