This was a lesson in why you can't always trust the internet. My post identifying it as a Breda 88 was based on a mislabelled image of the XA38 in a search engine. I'll be a bit more careful in future!
The XA38 was the A10 of its day. Fit the biggest gun you can and go hunting tanks, unfortunately just too late for WW11.

next challenge...

SAI KZ IV it is.
Danish air ambulance, 2 built 5 years apart in1944 & 49. Very DeHavilland influenced, take a Dragonfly, lop off its top wing and add an Albatross tail and you get a very pretty aircraft. One still flying.

Noyade back in control.

A quick search through the Google "aircraft twin pusher" list suggests it's the Argentinean DINFIA IA -45? There aren't that many options TBH once you eliminate the obvious ones such as the Blimps, Avanti and MD-9X etc.
I have a feeling we may have had it before several years ago.........................
OH if correct

I thought to attract some newbies with an easy to search but yet obscure aircraft.
What is the point of answering within 24 hours and declaring Open house?
Anyway Open house declared after identifying the Danfia AI-45.
I did a thread search and I found no result.

It was raining, I was bored sitting in an endless Teams meeting - the third 2 hour one in 10 days on the same technical issue
I think you bring up a good point tho' - re newbies. Perhaps we should label such challenges as "one for the newbies" and encourage the older hands not to wade in for a while? I'd be happy to conform.
Here are the search pages from Google FYI - most of them have instant links to the pictures and specific pages :-

I don't have a large electronic file of old aircraft pictures to hand. I thought maybe we'd get an answer pretty quickly so declared OH. Since it's a bit later I've found this one:-

The first prototype, powered by 150 hp Lycoming O-320 engines ... It proved underpowered ...
