I reckon it's the Ilyushin IL-40?
Absolutely! The first version of the ground attack plane Ilyushin IL-40 from early 50's. Only one made with that nose, it was heavily modified once they found out that firing the guns disturbed the airflow to the engines causing the engines to stall. Back to the drawing board and they came up with the uglyish double-barrel design, but only 1 prototype + 5 production units were ever made in the Rostov-on-Don plant by the sea of Azov. The mentioning of long legs was just fog of war, I did try to lure others to consider it would be a propeller aircraft, but it surely is equipped with jets. According to some sources the program was cancelled due to change in doctrine towards using tactical nukes dropped by fighter-bombers instead of these strafing the enemy... I hope the current regime in Moscow has no such ideas to replace the frogfoots.
Here's the full picture of which the quiz was made of, plus a side picture and the double-barrel shotgun. All yours treadigraph!

Erm, being a newcomer I have no right to whinge, but isn’t Rostov on Don part of Russia, or is it a question of being an oblast in the Soviet Union and not strictly Russian? (Asking for a friend)
Due to my answer to Asturias's question? My answer was maskirovka
I still use USSR and Soviet Union when of course I mean the Russian Republic
then there's the Uk, GB, England possibilities
I did know some folk who spoke about "the Union Govt." in Arkansas - and they weren't talking about N Ireland

You have control...
My friend then strangely asked me to ask you if you would be seen dead in a BMW. It must be hypothetical, as he is not at all the offensive type.
There always is the risk as I've driven a BMW that was tested in Kobe for radiation levels prior to export. True story!
Curious. That must have been after Fukushima. One should of course always check for flood damage, but radiation is a new one on me. And on a German car in Japan! But I digress from your excellent thread.
I might have a clue what this is!
