Not a video but a fascinating personal collection of (mostly) historic aircraft and wrecks in the '60/70/80s - one or two well known personalities from the past make occasional appearances!

Really interesting video about the RAF in the 1930s.
Had fun trying to work out the orientation of the aerial shots of RAF Henlow - the athletics track threw me - and I struggled to identify the aircraft at 29 minutes - Vickers Type 264 Valentia

Steve Hinton has recently been test flying a Bearcat after 12 year rebuild and talks about the process.
The aircraft is N3025 which was flown by Elmer Ward in Al Williams' Gulfhawk 4 colours until badly damaged at Oshkosh in 1993 during a forced landing.

nvubu,
Very interesting video with what must be the world's worst commentary! It took me back to my youth, watching the Superfreighters of Silver City Airways at Lydd. I was also reminded of the last time I saw a Bristol Freighter in the air. One appeared head-on to me, on a day when even Special VFR would have been a joke, on a LH (wrong side) downwind for 34 at Calgary. I presume it was a HawkAir aircraft. At the time, I didn't know there were any in Canada.
Back to the commentary, I couldn't imagine how the narrator could read it, without laughing. Then when the credits rolled, I discovered he wrote it!

Short video about recovering the B-29 now at March AFB from NAS China Lake in 1976 - and at least two more have been recovered subsequently!
(Shame about the dubbed Twin Beech take off noise!)

Saw this on WIX - moving a Starliner through NYC - it's now complete and acting as a cocktail bar atop the TWA hotel at JFK...
Strathallan Lanc G-BCOH with Dick Richardson
YouTube channel "Warbirds and weather vintage cine films" has period cine films of Strathallan aircraft, including the Comet after it's bumpy landing, one of the airshows, as well as the Vulcan arriving at East Fortune in 1984.
This one shows the Lanc at Glasgow, waiting for favourable winds down the runway at Strathallan, and then shows Dick R with the ac after arriving.
I'm transported back to a museum I visited only a few times, but made a huge impression on me.
Big thanks to the uploader!

Interview with Pete Kynsey - how did I know what his favourite warbird would be?
Oh and some other bits which are fun...

I've just stumbled on this very interesting video about the CF-104:
There are a lot of excellent shots of its predecessors. I've never seen so many Clunks!
I was a bit disappointed about the politically correct use of SI for the performance figures!
The last time I saw a 104 flying, in the mid-70s, we were "almost formating". The 104 was doing circuits at Cold Lake, approaching at ~170 kts. I was being checked out in a Motorfalke, approaching the parallel taxiway at 50 kts!
