Thanks, Mate:

This time a manufacturer and an aircraft type:

James Bond’s boss, a supporter and the Queen produced a prohibited insect in Ireland.

Correct, Maestro:

Bond’s Boss = EM
Supporter = BRA
Queen = ER

Prohibited = BAND ( best I could do)
Insect in Ireland = EIRANTE

YHC ( as we A2s used to say so clearly, but using more colours when being trapped).)

Lake Buccaneer? If so I haven't yet twigged the reference to the "Woofers".

NutherA2 is correct. Your turn. Again.

Note: the EER part of Bucaneer was a reference to the Royal Army Infantry "East of England Regiment", (EER), which had strong links to the "Woofers".

PPRuNe is nothing if not educational. I've been involved with militaria over the last 35 years and I'd never heard of the East of England Regiment. Now I've googled it I know all there is to know (nearly!).

Mind you I'd never heard of the Lake Buccaneer either!

Concurred - providing you use the threads frequented by adults and not moronic children.

Come on over to "Silhouette Challenge".

At 16:30 on any Saturday the "Whey Pat Tavern" is calling, so just a quickie:

A detailed
Nathaniel Adams Coles could construct this Airfield without assistance.

Sorry, LM, not so close to the Arctic Circle, perhaps de-tailed might help.

'Fraid not TTN, this one is in England; if you translate Nathaniel Adams Coles and curtail the result, the airfield won't be hard to find (these days it's supposed to be hard to get out of though).

Not Lindholme, I'm curious regarding the logic of the various suggestions. Perhaps it's time for more indications:

1. Identify
Nathaniel Adams Coles
2. Curtail the result.
3. Put the remainder into the mixer & think APC.
