Blue_2 has it. Welcome to the thread - just in case you have not worked out exactly how it works, you can now post your own challenge ( intake, engine, outlet) or , if nothing to post, declare Open House.

talk among yourselves!
I just talk to myself.

Chatting to myself we've come to the conclusion that the airtake thingy does not lie (pink line) in the same direction as the reds lines (see below). They're more to do with the leading edge - we think.

Fuselage in the background?

G'day Bluey!

Is there another one very close by? Possibly cropped from the shot? Oil cooler?

Victor K2 oil cooler it is! Incidentally it's on our very own K.2 XL231.
Seeing as you (both!) said the V-word first Noyade, you have control...

Bluey and I congratulate you! Tis a Winjeel. Amazing what stepping back a few feet does to the challenge. Note the couple going hard at it in the background - very distracting to an aviation enthusiast!

Open House.

That little logo says Pratt & Witney Aero Engines.

Maybe a Boeing F4B?

Yes, that's the one Graeme. Bellanca Skyrocket dressed up as the Wright Bellanca WB-2 New York to Berlin aircraft.

Your control.
