What in tarnation is "kholshchevnikovs accelerator"?

Google, for once, is completely stumped.

Well, not completely. The engine is at the back but nowhere near the number of horses as the Kingcobra.

The inboard leading edge wheel housing looks very Harvard, but that engine
does not. A Ranger engine ?

Yes, it is a Ranger V-770 engine, and it does look like a Harvard/Texan. There is a very good reason...

To move things along. I will go for a Harvard/Texan with a Ranger engine
possibly experimental.

Krakatoa is correct. It is the North American XAT-6E.
