Although the aeroplane is low over central London, it is in its' country of birth.

Two-seater.

Only one made, for a competition.

This is very elusive.

Am I thinking correctly that it was a military project and wasn't actually built ?

Wrong on both counts I'm afraid - it was a civil project and they did build it - but I think only one flew - the prototype hung around in some strange spots for a long time but I don't think it still exists

It is not A Piper PA-35 Pocono - it's THE Pocono - only one built. It was too big for the pistons they fitted - should have waited for PT-6's really. AFAIK the prototype finished up in a village in Poland and was last seen around 1995.............. The vertical view was quite misleading - it looked a lot bigger than it really was. Our man in the west has the con!

First focus on that impossible What cockpit challenge.
If irishair has not responded by the time we have solved that one then we call Open House.
What is that by the way, hair on an iris?
