Morning David

Not based on a Grunau, nor is it a German design. The glider it was based on was produced in considerable numbers - over 2,000 were built.

Hi Graeme, hope all is well? No, this was not done by Antonov. It was another company, not Russian, but from a former USSR state.

Well, I've been through all 1960s manufacturers of Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia and drawn a blank.

Looks like it will have to be someone more clever than me to get this one.

In that case you've missed it - look again at Lithuania. We've had previous challenges from this manufacturer.

the RK-5, Ken???
On the right track Martin, but the RK-5 was an altogether more substantial looking machine. Different manufacturer but similar kind of numbering system
