Not based on a Grunau, nor is it a German design. The glider it was based on was produced in considerable numbers - over 2,000 were built.
is yours based on a Grunau ?

Well, I've been through all 1960s manufacturers of Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia and drawn a blank.
Looks like it will have to be someone more clever than me to get this one.
