Off we (I) go again then...............

edit: Was it German?

I ask that because I have found something the description of which appears to match the image. It refers to a Dietrich.

After three hours of going around in circles, TC, I think I'll bail out of this one and hope that the night shift might appear.

I'm fairly sure it was from Eastern Europe as we know it.

Sleep well mate.

Evening Trevor. From the clues I'm guessing Austrian. So how about the Hopfner HS9/32?

Edit to say, if correct will have to be OH as calling it a night (early start tomorrow)
Good night

Here is one to consider for the OH:

I also am curious about the twin boomed one that RR posted, HHH, We have had plenty of time to identify it with no success!!!

Edit: Usual rules apply.... US aircraft... .

Good morning Karl

I've gotta be in and out all day so not much time to trawl

Is your challenge a single seat racer? late twenties/thirties?

I'd call it a mid-wing but most racers are what I'd call shoulder-wing.

Maybe the Cessna CM-1 aka MW-1 (Reg X9860)??

I doubt it's that, as all I can find with a quick search is a photo of a kit and I don't think you'd say usual rules if there wasn't many photos on the web!

Gotta go now, try and get back later.

If Aerofiles is correct, then I reckon it's the GC-2.

Back in for a few minutes and had a proper look at Cessna and it looks like it's the Cessna GC-2 ?

Gotta go again, so OH if confirmed or seconded as I'm not sure when I can get back

Edit:

Morning again David, I will second that mate, (I didn't look far enough down the list)

I just found Karl's piccie here, so I'd say it's your thread mate

Oh well, gotta keep things moving (I'm still in and out for the rest of the day, but will try to monitor from other computers when I can)

Edit: to pre-empt the inevitable question as it not obvious from the silhouette issa two-seater

Thanks TC.

Whatever you are doing (work I suspect) please get back soon.

Since your previous to last challenge was a parasol, I would like to reciprocate.

I'm back

That looks familiar!

Edit:

Ah, the Aviatika MAI-223 and the reason it looks familiar is 'coz it's been up before. I put it up for it's second appearance and my excuse was that it was too fresh to have been on Mel's list (Pages 1230 and 1244), so what's yours?
