It's not dissimilar to some Robin designs.

Well it's not too long....it is the Gardan GY-100 Bagheera An unsuccessful replacement for the Horizon, just a prototype and 1 production model produced....the latter is still flying today.

RR has control

Edit to say, Almost made it David, but Martin was there first with his edit of 1132

Evening Martin,

Sorry I've not been able to join in today, this is the first chance I've had to look

I guess only you know how obscure it is and whether it'll need your input/clues to crack it (in which case, if your not about over the weekend it'd be best to remove it and keep it in reserve for later). Otherwise, if you think it can be easily found and confirmed unambiguously, then you could just leave it under "usual rules apply" .

Cheers and have a good weekend

Good morning/evening all.

So Martin has withdrawn it but it's still up and has not been deleted. Neither has he called an OH.

Looks like a very boring weekend.

Good morning LM ,

I hope things went well with the visit to your Mother.

So Martin has withdrawn it but it's still up and has not been deleted. Neither has he called an OH.

Looks like a very boring weekend.
Well, Martin's light was on when I posted last evening, admittedly, I didn't ask a specific question, but I feel that had he seen it he would have made a comment. However, his intentions were clear and as he hasn't responded for well over the twelve hours required by our posted rules, I think we can justifiably call it open house and carry on!

Rule 4: In the event that the person posting the challenge has not responded to a guess or question within 12 hours, or someone who was the winner of the previous challenge has not posted a new challenge within 12 hours (unless they have declared Open House) then the competition will be null and void and it will become Open House.

Good morning to you TC.

Do you have anything ready ?

edit: back in a while.

Here you go then!

I had a look for RR's last without success, but it looks to be a hard nut to crack and well worthy or a return appearance when Martin is available for interrogation !

It appears to be a two-seater.

At first I thought the engine is a radial, but looking at the exhaust it must be an inverted in-line.

American?

A'rtnoon LM

Well, the aircraft in the image has a cowled radial engine, but the first two prototypes were powered by an inline DH Gypsy I. Not American
