Graeme, found a picture in a book. Tail is right, in that it's got a slight angle to the top. However it appears to carry the same registration as that referred to in the Flight article that Trevor has given the link to!

HI Ken,
Maybe this will answer that query! to quote from the Flight article:
I read that as saying the HB-3 originally flew under I/C power and it was then converted to battery electric power and was renamed the MB-E1, still carrying the same Registration number.
Maybe this will answer that query! to quote from the Flight article:
When Heino Brditschka flew the MB-E1 for 9min 5sec from Linz in Austria on October 21 he qualified for a line in the record book. For, unlike the HB-3 from which it was converted, the MB-E1 (Militky Brditschka Electric One) was silent.
If I read it correctly the electric E-1 was converted from the HB-3
Kangaroo court is in session. All those in favour of the HD-3, say "Aye!"

Gentlemen,it is the Militky MBE-1.
I made three attempts to eradicate the logo and registrations, but gave up in the end!
The answer to your question,Noyade, is yes. The North American F-86D "Sabredog"(Saberdog).

Well I think Trevor has it largely because I see what he means about the logo. However OE-9203 was the aircraft pictured in my book and it was listed in the Austrian register (I have an old Air Britain European register) as a HB-3!
So, Trevor has said he would declare OH, so if I may.......stand-by
Edit, just seen your Post sabredog, so I'll take the above back. Not sure where we go from here.
