I was going to suggest Chalgrove until I read dixi's mention of the railway line.

Not Chalgrove.

I hadn't noticed the railway until Dixi mentioned it, GE shows that the railway line still exists.

A hint of coastline top left.

That, I think, is RAF Ayr - done some googling and it also comes up as RAF Heathfield. Just south of the present Prestwick airfield.

Open house at the mo if correct.

That's it Background, RAF Ayr/Heathfield, remains of which are still visible around the threshold of Prestwick's Rwy 03.

Cool - I got one. OH as I don't have anything vaguely historic.

May I offer this one? I think the airfield may have appeared before but certainly not this view of it.

An additional personal point, this was my penultimate flight and last landing as a professional pilot (the F/O flew the return leg).

Happy to remove it if not acceptable.

Apologies to Minuteman, you are of course correct. CDG it is. Mind was on other things last night!

Reminds me of part of Bentwaters dispersal area, but it's an unlikely aircraft to be there, isn't it? And Bentwater's been done before....
