Another big clue to hopefully wrap this up and allow us to move on.

This aerodrome was opened in April 1939 as an RAF station.
After WW2 it became a Civil Airport.
BKS operated the first schedual service in May '53 to Northolt using a DC 3.
Towards the end of 1956 the men of steel took over.
Today little remains of the original site as it is heavily industrialised.

There, that should do it !!!!! I have given it away !!!

That was painful !!! but we got there in the end.

Well it's clear now, looked like a BAe 146 last night although that might have been due to the 'Jameson Factor'.
