my freezer is set at -14 C
Mine, too.

When you prepare freeze-dried reindeer meat, you have to wait until spring (March-April) to get freezing temperatures at night and a bit below zero at day to get the water to evaporate. Nobel-prize folks these nomads.

That 'rocket' is a Russian parasite fighter....according to the ludicrous plot.
Cannot be Dr Strangelove (wasn't that BW?). Must be a "Bond, James Bond" plot of sorts.

Nope. Sorry.

Going from memory now...made in 1950 but released in 1957.
This was the last powered flight of the X-1...and they added it to the movie script.

The actor meant to be in the X-1 is more famous for being in the saddle.

The Russian "Yak" is moments away from shooting down the Russian "Mig".

Thanks Reg,

That's something to think about; but I'm going to call it a hight now as it's an early start tomorrow to dig out the car and fit snow-chains if it looks half reasonable to get to work!

Gute Nacht

You can have my report...now.

The Romanian SET 7...

tomorrow to dig out the car
I was watching a movie the other night and this guy was completely trapped inside snow from an avalanche and disorientated in terms of "up and down." Apparently the trick is to drool from your mouth...and dig in the opposite direction.

So, don't forget to keep some spit handy....and carry a shovel!

Well, it was set to stay longer but then.....

Graeme has declared Open House.

The river is now filled with ice blocks which do not move any more. The seagulls seem to be in need of vectoring.

And my mouth is dry. Hopefully the snow stays where it is and does not start avalanching around.
