Good morning LM,
I think it's the American Yates Stiper
Belated Birthday wishes to skytrain
Off to work now, but will keep an eye open so you can put one up for me if it's correct, but I may be away from my computer for an hour or so for a couple of times this morning. Recieved the latest two OK, the full silhouette will be fine! Ta

Thanks for your good wishes gents.
John
Well you're in good company there - seems to be the "in vogue" thing to do these days! Good luck with it although it sounds like you've got your work cut out... at least you're not short of band members! As Graeme says, just go for the big one and retire!
Graeme
Nice gate mate - at least you haven't gone for the standard NATO grey scheme that most aircraft seem to be painted these days!
David
Blimey you're keeping us waiting on this one. I went OH a couple of days back to give the chance to post it - here we are on Friday still waiting!!
John
as soon as I said I was coming out of 'retirement' and was going to put a band together

I'm off to hospital in 50 minutes to see a consultant. You may not see me around on the thread for some time.

Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear that David,
I'm sure we all wish you a speedy recovery; good luck mate
It was a project, not Russian, but skytrain is on the right path!

It was one of the configurations put forward for the BAe 146M with a pair of Rolls Royce BR725's and a tail mounted TP400 turboprop.

Hi David
Sorry to hear that mate. I'm sure everthing will work out fine. Just keep taking the Night Nurse!
Probably won't do much for the blood pressure though
Hope to see you back fit and well soon.
Ken

Please be advised that I have been having some medical problems concerned with my last operation.
Ken, been to hospital lately? They (nurses) do NOT look like that!
Is that monstrosity (the challenge) French?

The surgeon has decided that further surgery is too risky, so I shall have to live with it.
As for the challenge, the absence of an anti-torque system indicates a free rotor, so it must be classified as an autogyro of some kind.
