Thanks LM....really struggled with that one...it was the shape of the floats that I was having difficulty with! Had to draw a design myself....which amazingly worked!

Evening all,
As I suspected, no time for coffee this afternoon and not much this evening afore I have to go.
I'll start off by continuing the what's the engine theme, it looks a bit like an Anzani six to me, 45 or 60hp, is that anywhere near the mark Ken ??
Thanks for all the back=handed complements folks; on reading some of the phrases, maybe that should be some kind of stigmata (STIG Martin)!!

Thanks for the engine details, I said 45 or 60hp because I thought they were the only variants on the six-cylinder. Initial search hasn't yielded much so far, so press on for a while.
The wing looks pretty thick inboard of the ailerons and then tapering to the tips! 1920's ?

Good evening Ken.
I have been thinking that this aeroplane was designed for speed.
However, that high thickness/chord ratio wing would preclude that.
Nobody has asked the rather obvious question - was it French?

was it French?
And not designed for speed.
First clue:
- although the manufacturer of this aircraft is not particularly well known, the aircraft's designer is, and he went on to set up a well known aircraft company which took his name.
