I think Graeme that the rudder is deflected in your artwork (that was not the reason why I was slow, though)

Tails, yes, in aircraft my favourite topic….

RR's challenge is still just as elusive as it was last time I saw it.

Looks a tad like a squashed Vultee Vengeance.

American (USA)?
Vultee?

Are you serious Martin?! After recent events I don't think anyone will even fart unless they have written permission from all Silhouette members and a unanimous show of hands.

Reg, keep your fingers away from the keyboard!

No, I think we'll all just wait an hour.

Yours looks a bit like the Polikarpov Chaika I-15(3) that Soviets gave to China as parts, and that were assembled there. Would it be possible that the Chinese had planned to build an indigenous one, based on I-153 but as a monoplane?

Edit: Or, coming to think of it, an indigenous version of I-16?
