Silhouette Challenge / General
Wendt W-1-400 Falconer. If so open-house.
Of late it seems that this forum has become a testing ground for image posting, to a point where I am at risk of losing interest not to mention losing track as to what is a challenge and what is a test! Even now there appear to be 2 live challenges.
I certainly do not want to offend anyone, and I am not aware of the history of the competition before I started contributing last year. However I am sure I am not the only one who has observed the deviation in recent weeks from what was, in my view, an excellent competition.
Dazdaz...I know you started this competition so I hope you take these comments in the spirit that they are intended.
Kind regards
Ken

The 3-view and two photos under my name are all of the Wendt W-1. I thought a couple of photos from different angles might aid in its identification. My apologies if it only caused confusion and I won't repeat the mistake.
With the Wendt sourced then the only "live" challange remaining, by my reackoning, would be Mr Carson's rather poor diagram of a paper Piaggio bomber project?

Yes Noyade it is a poor diagram but that's all I had to offer.
Spot on: it is indeed an unbuilt project derivative of the Piaggio P/133 which on armstice day (Sept.9th 1943) was 90% completed (the latter not the former).
So Noyade you carry on

May I comment and say that I don't share Skytrain's opinion that this forum is becoming a testing ground for posting.
Noyade merely meant to expand his views and considerations by just adding posts #2024 and #2026 and frankly I don't see how this could harm the forum's
integrity and excellence.
If somebody is to blame it's me who jumped in with an extra post thrown in for reasons already mentioned and for which I already apologized.
We are all trying to abide by the forum's rules and regulations.

Sorry Irishair it isn't the Breda BZ-308 (another unfortunate bird which should have been the italian connie). Noyade gave the correct answer with post #2028.
Cheers

I don't think it was ever given an official denomination or number it is a derivative of an aircraft which was 90% built by Sept. 9th 1943 then subsequently demolished and this was to be called P.133.

It seems you got it 100% correct John! Congratulations!
(I have been searching for it for about two hours, evidently to no avail, alas)
We must patiently wait for Evansb confirmation, anyway.
All the best, Paolo
