Thanks Noyade...I have to admit the clue helped somewhat! I was fortunate to see the one example that appeared on the UK register back in the 70's.

Diesel Addict has it, and so, sort of, has Carson1934 ( and MReyn24050 off thread by PM for that matter)

Well done people ....the original CAP 4 Paulistinha was a Brazilian design of 1942 with a 65 hp Franklin engine, revived 1956 by Neiva with 90 hp Continental and 100 hp Lycoming. The one below found its way to Florence/Firenze Italy some time in the 50s...
