No, the aircraft in question did not enter RAF service.

Thanks Mel. The F.9/37 was said to have pleasant flying characteristics.

Not a Supermarine Seal. Not a seaplane or flying boat. The mystery aircraft served the RAF for only a few years.

Sycamore is correct. The Fairey Hendon, first flow with an open-cockpit, later models were enclosed.
