Well I guess that the opposite of cold is hot or even "fire" or "Fuego" which after a brief search on google earth leads me to Puerto Williams which seems to match the picture above.

It is in the UK.
It is disused (!)
The buildings are not original although they are in roughly the same place. The peri track is still visible around the righthand edge of that ploughed field

Caudillo's challenge
I must admit I agree with you, presumedly the British Connection being the Beagle Channel, which is named after the ship HMS Beagle which was involved in two hydrographic surveys of the coasts of the southern part of South America in the early 19th century.

Heck where
Somewhere with a narrow gage rail/ramway, Jersey perhaps, with DH84 Dragons Mks I & II? The tramway ran from St Helier past St Abin's Bay beach landing ground.

Well it was a railway rathr than a tramway and I trhought that it was standard gauge but now you've got me thinking!
It is West Park Beach in Jersey which was used until the current airport was built at St Peter in 1937. The beach has been used since on rare occaisions, the latest being a couple of weeks ago during the annual air display.
