Ramsgate Airport
Well done, Sabredog, Ramsgate it was, on 4th August 1953. That's the old water tower in the corner, which was this grass airfield's well known characteristic.
And the aircraft was a Miles Messenger (well done the others), G-AHZS of Air Kruise, in which I had just completed my first flight. I cropped the picture to avoid an embarrasing public airing of short trousers and knobbly knees.
Over to you, Sabredog.

D120A.
Thank you. Many happy hours spent at the said airport with it's Art Deco terminal, also home to the 438 (Thanet) Sqdn A.T.C.
Quite beyond me to post a picture I am afraid, so it is open house.
