Hi BSD,
Hope you've got something ready. Zlin, indeed, but not a 526. Can you better that?

A big clue was the diagramatic flap selector at the bottom right - fixed boots, a set of flaps, and quite a good drawing of the aircraft!

JDK,

Thank you! You were right, the little schematic on the cockpit sidewall gave it away, jogging my memory of flying one many, many years ago!

Do have another go, or throw it open to the floor. The only photos I have, have all been done already and would be feeble compared to some of the fabulous challenges that appear.

I apologise to you all for not contributing properly, but please keep 'em coming!

BSD.

Well that must be a record time !! 2 mins.

Sometimes I get really cheesed off. It took me 15 mins to resize the picture and paste it 'cause I'm not very 'putor literate then some one comes along like that and gets it.

Only joking guys !!!

Clint.

Single engined obvously, P11 compass so probably British(?). Seaplane (?). Goes away to rack brains.

Not American. It is from somewhere in Europe.

While LowNSlow was correct that this is a single, it was also available with more than one engine.

Was it the forerunner of the Ju52/3m? The Ju52 single?

Sorry not German either but you are getting closer. It is an old 'plane that was flown by one on the first airlines (and it is still flying under its own name).

The single engined Fokker F.VII perhaps? Even KLM's Fokker VII, Serial No 5054 Reg No H-NADP?

Thanks Flap40.
That was a great challenge and took some solving. I am sure this one will not be so difficult.
