No - the A-26 (Conair firebomber) has been done already.

In several ways this could be called a forerunner of the A-10.

I would say it was a North American Aircraft but not the Savage. I think it is the North American B-25H Mitchell.

More likely than the Savage, you'r right,
but the mention " the forerunner of the A-10 " make me think of something more recent.
Don't ask me why....

Is it a Supermarine Swift?

What's the 'egg timer' where the HUD would normally be on something more modern?

Sorry not a Supermarine Swift. On this aircraft the 'eggtimer' thing is the gunsight.

Ah yes, and now I've cleaned me specs I see it's calibrated in metres. Is it one of Monsieur Dassault's stable? Perhaps a Mystere IV?

Many thanks. Unfortunately, I don't have access to any suitable pictures. Can we throw the game open?

Thanks

Or perhaps I could have my go.

Problem of being in a different timezone, Barit1.

Coming up!

OK, here we are.

Shouldn't be hard, if you take all the evidence on board. Wouldn't mind a go in one of these as a passenger myself one day.
