Well Will, I'd like to know how it handles as well. It is a rare 1937 Aeronca LC, one of 65 built, and one of seven remaining. She belongs to the flying collection of the Western Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum (WAAAM), located at Hood River, Oregon. The LC cruises at 108 mph, and is powered by a 90-hp Warner Scarab Jr radial. I have a photo of an Aeronca LC on floats, and in the absence of the large wheel-pants, the aircraft looks a bit better. It is, however, better looking than the Shapley Kittiwake, seen here:

Perhaps this view of the Aeronca LC is more flattering:

Ah:
The cottage with the Beaver on the dock - the things dreams are made of.
I haven't flown a Beaver on floats since 1978 but I miss them still.
Standing on the dock with a coffee watching the sunrise waiting for the first pax of the day.
The relaxing pumping of the floats.
Falling off the floats trying to drain the tanks.
The sound of a Beaver warming up on a cool morning ......
How many pairs of sunglasses I once owned rest at the bottom of various Canadian lakes and ponds?
Sitting on the dock with a cold one watching the sunset after the last flight of the day.
The joys of my youth.
What is the S/N and - is it listed in Beaver Tails ?
Just checked - yes it is.
C-GUOZ at Fort Langley, British Columbia.\
Cheers

Nostalgic photos
My late father was an avionics engineer, and also dabbled in photography. He always had a camera with him and took a lot of great pictures (in my biased opinion). I recently came accross hundreds of negs and colour slides so bought myself a scanner.
