no :( no cost index. Words added to meet the minimum

Capt Claret 9th Sep 2014 03:26

Hey Bloggsie, are you considering heading over to the dark side? :oh:

Capn Bloggs 9th Sep 2014 03:36

"NJA, will be able to make your JULIM time, ATC estimates have you 7 minutes late!" :} :}

Could be a job for you, Clarrie. You get more miles out of a tankfull! :ok:

Snakecharma 9th Sep 2014 03:39

No RTA either!

Captain Biggles84 10th Sep 2014 00:32

Hear there could be some VA E190 guys that might look at gig given their Perth base is about to be shut.

The Banjo 10th Sep 2014 00:40

Bloggs,

You don't carry enough fuel to be fussed about cost indexes :p

"Qantas may have something to say about the B717s being part of the Cobham fleet"

And they will. Next seven are going to Network ;)

Going Nowhere 2nd Oct 2014 12:01

I thought all the 717's in the world were spoken for?

0tto 2nd Oct 2014 12:27

Next seven are going to Network
When did they make this order?

blumoon 3rd Oct 2014 04:28

I thought network were getting the 12 Cseries not B717's?... Can't see why Q would want two different B717 operations 😏

😎

VC9 3rd Oct 2014 04:45

Maybe the B717 operation would be set up and operated the way the aircraft was designed rather than attempts to make it like a 146 and even worse, an Ansett 146.

Ret Sabala 3rd Oct 2014 09:37

Oh meoooww VC9

R.Cruizo 3rd Oct 2014 09:50

Network's sole B717 rated check captain resigned and joined Cobham. The 5 717 's also rumoured for Easterns
mysteriously ended up at Cobham.

Pindan warrior 5th Oct 2014 14:27

dear wayne kerr's, can we get back to the thread please, would be nice to know if anyone knows anything about how many E190's are on their way to Cobham.

SOPS 5th Oct 2014 16:14

VC 9 there is form there. The MMA F28s I flew, and loved flying, where configured to try and look like a DC9. Why that happened is another story.

greybeard 5th Oct 2014 19:39

Hey SOPS, they were the only ones in the world like it and had to be "reverted" when they were sold to mainly Canada.

The French company had 36 of them, all sizes and shapes, made our ops look a bit thin, although we were "Worlds best operator".

Alice Springs go around still the thing of bad dreams.

Best fun aircraft of its time.

owyergoinmateorrite?

:ok:

airdualbleedfault 6th Oct 2014 06:45

Not thatit matters CCruizo but your mail is incorrect, there are at least 2 717 rated pilots still at Notwork.
More importantly there's over a dozen A320 rated pilots

The refueller spoke to a stores guy who is going out with the sister of a cleaner at Cobham. She reckons that initially one airframe, followed later in the year by a second, both for Chevron on the BWX contract. After that it will depend on contracts won and then simply lease more airframes. As the cleaner explained to her sister, all the pain and expense is in getting the first aircraft on the AOC and crewed up, engineers trained etc. After that it is simply a matter of scaling.

Apparently.:hmm:

Cobham E190 arrives in Australia

For all the doubters, the E190 arrived in Adelaide over the weekend, so no Photoshop.
