Give them a ring, what have you got to lose? If you don't find out you're in the same position as you are now, apart from you maybe able to get a more up to date time scale.

Dale I sat it in the session starting at 13:30 at Bournmouth too!
Are you confident about getting through to Stage 2?!

I am quite confident about getting to stage 2 but it's hard to say as i've never sat these tests before, fingers crossed though.
How do you think you did?
By the way, good luck to anyone awaiting results

I'd like to think I did pretty well, so I hope I get through, but I'm trying to take things a step at a time. I feel I can do the training and the Job in the end, so I'm just really keen to do my best on these tests so I can have the chance to prove I CAN do it! :P
Maybe see you soon at stage 2

Morning all,
Curious to know if any of those that sat Stage 1 in the early morning session on 24th Nov has heard anything back yet?

I was under the impression that the results would be released in 15 days?
Some people have...

Dale,
I think it was up to 15 working days; the only news I have heard is that at least one person has been invited to sit an online personality test... Whether or not that's good or bad news I'm unsure.
Ta,
Adam

Adam,
I think the personality test is the next part of selection .. so must have been good news for him/her.
I wouldn't worry about it, just sit tight and good luck.

I have my stage 2 in 2 weeks and I know there isn't a lot I can do to prepare as it is primarily aptitude based but does anyone have any tips on how they have prepared?

Good luck on the stage 2 HMJ,
on the Personality Test, I'm not aware of anyone passing stage 1, and then failing before reaching stage 2. I.e. not "passing" the personality test. Anyone able to shed light?
It is my presumption that it is used more to help with the Interview, and perhaps help to decide if you are going to be area / aerodrome/approach?
Cheers in advance,
Phil

Hi everybody,
Only 4 days till my stage 1 in Prestwick (@ 9am) and I am just trying to study every aspect of the test process fully. I have tried very very hard to memorize the ATC document (and have now did so) and studying up on my S/D/T - which is becoming easier/faster...but I'm a little worried about the next tests (spacial reasoning and diagramming) as I'm not too sure what to expect, although I have read the forums a million times over, I'm just not sure of how difficult the cubes are, or what an easy way to solve them might be...
Will be seeing some of you on the 3rd - good luck to everybody waiting for their results !!!!

bummer! Is it one of those "choose the most/least out of:"
I have/am:
Good Leadership Skills
talkative
a team worker
patient
??
I properly don't want to fail on personality!
"Mr Day, we regret to inform you that you have the aptitude, but we think you're a bit of a dick..." lol
Phil
P.S. thanks for the fast reply sambatc!

Re the personality tests.
As far as I can tell, it's less about your implied personality and more about the consistancy of your answers.
Even though the questions are all worded differently, they are all asking about the same 4 or 5 (or whatever) personality traits. So don't answer one question saying that your decision making is slightly better than team-work (for example) then say different in the next one.
Just my thoughts. Good luck to you all.
