Hey guys,
Trying to prepare for my phase 1 tests this Friday at Prestwick.
Has anybody done the test that could shed a bit of light as to where I should spend most of my time studying, I know it will be important to know it all but some areas may carry more value than others or is it fairly spread?
I have done the FEAST test for Eurocontrol in Holland in August and failed by one point on the script match test so I feel confident in the cube test and all the rest of it as I found that part easy so I have no worries there!
Cheers, Luke

I look forward to seeing you there sambatc!
Just booked plane tickets to london, insane prise, cost me less than £40 to get back and forth between Gothenburg and Stansted. Not complaining though (let's just hope my flight doesn't get cancelled due to snow or something, would be just my luck

well it seems they like my personality - I'm down for Stage 2 on 26th Jan
Is 26th of January the earliest possible date? I ask this because you are about 3 weeks ahead of me in the whole process, and if I pass stage 1 next week and if 26th of January is the earliest possible date, maybe I can attend stage 2 in early/mid February.
Thanks!

yep, it was. If there were any earlier I'd be jumping at the chance! Late Jan is ages away!!!
I'm going to a place called Cha'am - less known to tourists I think but it's very popular with the Thais
how about yourself? I travelled through Thailand a few years back between uni and work - of all the typical touristy islands, we had the best time on Koh Samui

thank you Sofia, though I'm afraid I don't think there is anywhere to practice cubes. I've read this whole thread (many of it several times over) and I've never seen any mention of cubes websites.....

Can't BELIEVE after months of studying and looking forward to Stage 1 - NATS have decided to cancel it for Friday 'due to weather'. Ridiculous !!!!!! Now I'm away for a month on Monday and have no idea when I can do it again. That's just great...

I was supposed to be sitting Stage 1 tomorrow at Prestwick too, I can't believe they have been cancelled!!
I've e-mail HR back asking if they will be re-scheduled and when we will find out. Does anyone know already if they are being re-scheduled?

Wow gazb2, I'm really sorry to hear that. That was pretty inconsiderate of them... to warn with less than 24 hours notice.
I sent them an email right away asking whether they're planning to cancel Stage 1 in Whiteley next Tuesday. I have already bought the plane tickets and I have already booked the hotel, but as long as they warn me until Sunday night I guess I can cancel everything, no problem. But if they warn me on Monday afternoon, by that time I'll already be in London, so... yeah.
Let's just hope the weather improves over the weekend
