Dad
Went through the local village earlier today and saw another one of these strange flashing snowpersons. Now I know you are in that village a lot, one at the end of your road.....coincidence?
Data Dad, mild mannered ATCO or dodgy Christmas decoration salesman?
Don't worry No.1 the snow is back!!!! You still have the rest of the winter to get that coveted award.
Merry Christmas to you all at the Station!

Saw a discovery in a fence today. How I larfed, - they only have more grip than the rest of us when they're speeding up, when it comes to slowing down or going round corners, they're just like we are.
But with a lot more momentum.
bwhahahahahahaha
clonk!

Dad
You could have at least waited until you were out of the restaurant before pulling off that trick with the chocolate profiteroles and hot fudge sauce!!!!!
Was that a repair kit for your flashing signs that you had in the Argos bag the other day, or next years samples!
A bit of advice for the unwary, don't invite a certain Sumburgh controller around for drinkies without locking away the vacuum cleaner first..

Buzz, the profiteroles and hot fudge sauce didnt help solve the unserviceability of the flashing snowperson
worked wonders in other ways though! The Argos bag actually contained the ingredients for more of the sauce
A rather disturbing thought occurred to me earlier today - 20 years to the day since I started at the College (any other 49ers out there?) Ironically, it snowed in Bournemouth that day and caused chaos - maybe it was trying to tell me something

Have you seen the thread asking where someone will get posted to? Remember the last time someone asked such a silly question...... tempting isn't it!

Unless I am very much mistaken, I believe our very own "Number 1" is away celebrating a significant birthday ending in a ZERO!
Maybe not as over the hill as me but teetering on the brink
So everyone join in after me...
"Happy birthday to you ..."

Thank You DD!
What can I say? At least there are plenty of you around the unit if I need advice about coping with this difficult age!
I'll raise my glass of Coke to you all in some high class Parisian night spot tonight (assuming LGW and CDG aren't fogged out and we make the 45 minute connection! )

You remebered your telephone number yet without having to look it up in the unit contact number book? Any truth in the rumour that you got lost on the way home last night and had to ask a policeman to help you??
No.1
I'm surprised it wasn't a nice hot cup of cocoa that you were raising! I hear it helps you oldies to get to sleep of an evening

None whatsoever, however I freely admit to having had to look up my 'phone number in the contact book. After all I was reliably informed that in the not too distant past my number in said Oracle was incorrect - I wouldn't want to give the right no. to helo companies for on call on New Years Day would I?
MF figured out who you are yet?
I hope that I get royalties from your new sig
