Yeh, let us in on your secret coz in Hong Kong we've managed to get 2 pay cuts over the last 2 years with another 3% cut in January. Something about "sharing the pain". Stand by for more holding.

In my experience the only way some firms will give improved terms and conditions is when they are suddenly faced with a staffing crisis due to people voting with their feet.
Thus leading to the prospect of a reduction in ATC services or airport operating hours.

There's at least one UK unit currently trying to poach former employees back with bigger salaries...

If, and that's an if, I was to move back to my old job, I could stay living where I am now, fly back home (VLM firm ticket) on my days off and rent somewhere near work. Subject to some tax changes, I would be at least £900 per month better off! And that's after paying to rent somewhere and 3 return flights per month.
Tempting, very tempting!:

No-ones poaching Matspart3......he's far too old! Nor should he be encouraging such outrageous rumours as that!!!

Go on, you know you want to.............

Besides, if you go that will be 4 ship jumpers this year. Now surely that will be an incentive for management to start paying us a decent wage.............

My kids need new shoes...................

''An incentive for management to start paying us a decent wage''

Somehow, being short of fully trained staff has not been an incentive to offer an attractive package to recriut. Attempting to reduce annual leave and not pay removal expenses won't, that's WON'T attract more fully qualified staff. As usual, chief banana can't see the light.............

Does anyone know who got the SATCO job at Robin Hood.
PM please

I was led to believe that there was a stack of CV's for this unit, but I believe in the Tooth Fairy.

It would be interesting to know who actually got the SATCO job.

A quick scan of the security "signing in book" at both the main gate and the management office revealed afew names.

Additionally, I couldn't believe it when personnel left me in the interview room alone, with a whole stack of previous interviewees CV's lying on the desk! Just toooooo tempting!

Would you belive that anyone would be so daft to leave their business card attached to their CV? Och Mc Rackham Noo??

Thank God I turned them down.....
