Can partially sympathise, the lack of new aircraft would be a genuine factor to not expand now.
On the other hand, you've announced your intention to the competition...what if they get in there before you? i'm sure TUI/EXS would happily jump on it in 2019 before EZY in 2020 |

Just been looking at a price to fly to Faro this weekend. Price for SEN - FAO 1 person 1 way on Saturday is £618.99. Which started me thinking. What's the highest price anyone out there has seen for a seat on this LCC?
|
Price is now £510. It can only be because the flight is probably 99% sold out so they will take advantage of someone desperate to travel on that day. It’s half the price on Sunday - but still not “cheap”.....but it is half term....... Just check BA from LHR....nothing on Saturday. £548 on Sunday. Bizarrely LGW has a Business Class fare which is £64 cheaper than Economy Plus at £447. .....and I can’t even get on to RYR’s webpage....... A4 |
School holidays start this weekend.... |

I’m paying just £34 to go to Oslo, which is set to be a few degrees hotter than virtually all Med destinations all weekend (10 degrees hotter than Faro tomorrow!!) and longer daylight too. It pays to think outside the box! OK, beers are probably ten times the price.... |

Anyone know when the 1st A321neo will be delivered and where to be based? If I remeber correctly July 2018 was mentioned.
Based on the latest Orders&Delivieries file from Airbus there are only 3 A320ceo left for delivery. Once delivered there will be only A321neo and A320neo on order. Current fleet size is over 300 aircraft now. Passenger statistic for June 2018 Passenger Statistics for June 2018 |

Is this the big expansion from GLA that EZY and Team GLA have been banging on about? With Milan (3x weekly) dropped this is actually a further reduction in flights from GLA.

5 more aircraft at Manchester confirmed. 2 more this winter then 3 next summer. Makes 17 based in total. Will make MAN largest U.K. Easyjet station outside of London, and 3rd after LGW and LTN. |

Well yes it is true, as 17 confirmed is a larger number than 16 confirmed (but even so, I saw a post stating BRS is 15 based, not 16). It was also a direct quote from Ali Gayward so I’d say it’s true. |
Has any new intra-European flights been released today, or is it all ex-UK?
|
There were 24 routes announced today in total, 16 from the U.K. and 8 from intra-EU, but, the routes elude me at this time. |
The 8 new Intra-European routes which went on sale are:
Basel - La Palma Berlin Tegel - Innsbruck Berlin Tegel - Hurghada Berlin Schoenefeld - Gran Canaria Berlin Schoenefeld - Lanzarote Milan Malpensa - Hurghada Nice - Porto Venice - Lanzarote |

A321-251NX in service today, first flight by G-UZMA being LGW-FAO.
|
Does anybody know if EasyJet will be flying from either Newcastle or Manchester to Geneva in the summer of 2019?
|
Am I right in assuming that LTN-Krakow & Gibraltar is a direct replacement for Hamburg?

Lots of winter-centric routes as expected Canaries, Egypt & Ski - as expected Berlin, but very little from France, despite them saying it will be a focus over the next year...

I see that easyJet are threatening to sue French ATC over the disruptions over the last number of years. All I can say is Best of British on that one, you'll need it!

To cancel without any explanation is disgusting, it does not matter whether you are using an agent or self-handling. easyJet customer relations need to get their act together before they go down ths Ryanair route.
I can feel an email to Ali Gayward, EZY Commercial Manager, coming up. |
Sounds like someone at Berlin forgot about the catch-all excuse, namely "operational reasons". Works brilliantly with most pax - haven't got a clue how to challenge it and can be used for almost any possible cause

A rather sweeping statement.......but no reason given to me and a large number of pax at Luton on Feb28th this year Never did find the reason even after, at one stage, my 64min55sec call to the easyJet call centre in Cape Town. I just assumed it’s a bit like when a bus runs into your car and the bus driver says that the company insists he/she must never admit liability to the complainant. |
