NCL Utd probably needed the larger a/c to take account of Malcolm MacDonald's sideburns! :E

(edit: or his ego...) ;)

1972 British Caledonian
Ahhh, now that was a proper airline!

How different would it be if the likes of them and Dan Dare were still going? :ok:

EGNT 26th Apr 2008 09:42

Anyone got any ideas about the 2 CB and EAF flights to Stansted tonight?

Britannia 26th Apr 2008 10:00

The ScotAirways flights are Newcastle United arriving back, they normally just use the one aircraft.

fl dutchman 26th Apr 2008 16:18

TCX

Do they have 3 aircraft based at NCL as there are 3 departures tommorrow morning?

deltahotel9 26th Apr 2008 18:23

TCX normally only 2x757 Antalya is not a normal Sunday departure maybe some pre-season stuff? On a similar note why are MON flying into NCL from Akroti tomorrow? Had to look it up, so if you don't know either its in Cyprus!

EGNT 26th Apr 2008 18:32

Cheers Britannia.

I was also wondering about the Monarch aswell, if anyone knows what plane its gonna be.

AviationNE 26th Apr 2008 18:40

Monarch

It is an A300 charter flight operating to birmingham empty afterwards.

Not sure as to why it is there though.

yeo valley 26th Apr 2008 18:41

Akroti is a british airforce base. so would think a militry flight. mon been doing a lot of them lately with a 767. hope that helps.

nclops 26th Apr 2008 20:41

yeo valley is correct.

inglebyboro 27th Apr 2008 06:52

nclops 27th Apr 2008 07:03

GrahamK 28th Apr 2008 14:20

Looks like it's due in around 7pm tonight :ok:

AviationNE 28th Apr 2008 16:17

The MON will be in at 1850 PM back out 50 mins later to MAN

uklad007 28th Apr 2008 17:16

There was one in to MME in the last week from the same RAF base, it was an A300 i think - also stayed about 50 mins.
