only four 752's left next summer at present this may change but the four remaining will be:
LI,BB,BC,AN
I would imagine the other one is MAN based? :)

Funderblaster 17th Oct 2014 16:41

Correct, Boeing wise at MAN, 3 x B763 & 1 x B752

CabinCrewe 18th Oct 2014 19:23

can anyone tell me how many tyre changes all of the tcx fleet has had, what the seat covers are on the a321 fleet and what will the livery be like in 2018 ?

alasdair1 19th Oct 2014 18:10

Dear all,

TCDD flew directly above my home this evening fron oulu to BFS where it is currently.
What will happen to the 757-300's and 767-300's now TCX are going Airbus?
Kind regards

I'm due to fly on a 752 ex BHX next week and back the following, just wondering have all the 752's had a bit of cabin refresh, I believe JMCG,FCLI had seats refitted, have the rest had same treatment and what if anything else was done to them?

cheers

alasdair1 19th Oct 2014 23:04

Dear Mart901,BFS BHD &All ,

Mart901- all 752 have had the new seats with a blue wave on them thats the only real change and a sunny heart tail on the old livery i think TCBB is at BHX just now.
The 752 has the same seat pitch as before, where are you flying too?

Thanks BFS-BHD for your update on TCDD.
The A321's have come along way with the over 6hour flights to tfs all be it with a fuel stop from oulu she will hopefully fly over my house on her way home in the morning .

Im sure all of us wish G-FCLD well on her new opperator and new life as a freighter.

Kind regards

To answer your question, 767's are off to Condor imminently and the 753's I believe are staying until 2020's (2022 rings a bell)

mart901 20th Oct 2014 04:54

Thanks Alasdair for the prompt response - Bodrum to answer your question and we paid for extra legroom seats, 4 hrs is horrendous otherwise! I have flown on ex MYT A320 previously and it doesn't seem half as cramped. Looking forward to seeing the new A321's, really glad BHX is seeing some growth out of it.

Dear Mart901,EK77WNCL&All,
Mart 901:- no worries I was glad to help you.
I hope that you enjoy the bodrum area, which resort are you staying in?
I usually stay at the Irme Hotel in turgutreis when i fly to Bjv.
Bjv from BHX will be twice weekly next year A321&A320 .

EK77WNCL:-thanks for the information and your reply to my question.

At Gla I would personally like to see the 753 back as the 752's fill up so fast now they are at Lgw I would feel that would warrant the 753.
are their any plans for it to return especially on bjv, dlm& nbe as these are Tcx's most popular routes and Nbe increasing same as dlm in frequency in summer 15.

I see the A330 is to opperate GLA-AYT on a weds morning.
Is this the A330-200 or A330-300 as both are planned in the lh book ?
The rows start at row 8 premuim is blocked off so are the rear cabin middle rows anyone know why this is?
Id say this is in responce to The poularity for turkey routes from Gla.
Kind regards.

The 763's will be returning to MAN for S15 I presume?

flying officer kite 20th Oct 2014 13:51

The 767 should be back in MAN next summer. I'm booked to fly MAN-PMI, and the seat map is for the 763

mart901 20th Oct 2014 18:46

Hi Alasdair, staying in WOW resort, Gumbet. TCX always good for me, despite all the complaints people make always get good service.
Glad to see more a/c at BHX base next year, amongst others - time for a fight back.

alasdair1 20th Oct 2014 19:22

Hi mart,
Glad you enjoy tcx and services,
Did you travel on BC today to BJV?
if so was it full as i do a case study on this airport and try to collect figures.
The hotel looks amazing.
Enjoy
Kind regards

mart901 20th Oct 2014 19:32

Was fully booked, today yes. Some pax no shows though.

alasdair1 20th Oct 2014 20:17

Dear mart901,
glad it was full .
I dont know why charter has no shows tho sounds strange to me.
I find that tho too as our return flight was booked to 235 both ways and only 230+2 showed and on return 230+2showed but tc had it down as 235 when i asked them for my may trip to BJV
And in oct i was told it was 187pax gla-dlm but it was 185+2 the return was booked to 235 and only 231+1 showed gla-dlm

I hand the flighdeck a logsheet and they fill in for me it was designed by a captain and is handy to track my flights .
