Talking McGoldrick Starts again

Have heard (on great authority) that PJ McGoldrick has bought a new irish airline called EU-JetOps. This airline currently only has exec aircraft operations. Understand that PJ is pulling together a management team and rumour is that he is already negotiating deals on A320 / A321 - TLA guys - we're back!!

I am fairly certain on this info, but has anyone else heard anything???

CUBA

I hear that Cuba might be on the cards. Congratulations to Stuart who has just got married. Seemingly he has spent some time down there recently.

Talking Contacts

Maninblack - PJ normally uses Barry Murphy - AIR (Aviation Int'l Resources) for his crewing requirements. Do not have his contacts since he moved from TransAer House - but he is the man to talk to. Anyone have his numbers?

Current word is 2 x 321 Dec Start.

TLA 2, is going to be called EU-Jetops.They plan to start ops sometime in Feb/Mar with 4 A321's. Also, they do not plan to get involved in charter services at the start, but instead concentrate on Wet-leasing.It seems that the same friendly faces from TLA will be involved again. The website is still under construction. For info its http://www.eu-jetops.com .

Can anyone shed some light on the basing of this company, will it be Ireland or UK. There is a lot of work out of Ireland sure, but even more from UK.

EU Airways (flight code EUY) are listed on the Dutch slot coordination website http://www.slotcoordination.nl as requiring 1424 slots, which I believe equates to 4 flights a day for Summer 2003 at Amsterdam. Rumour control has this down to be 4 flights a day from/to Manchester with Boeing 717s/A320s - anyone know more?
I imagine they have got on the way towards actually commecning operations if they have been granted slots.
EU Airways is the trading name of EU-Jetops Ltd of Dublin and they became a licensed air carrier effective 16th August 2002.
