They may, but it needs to go onto airside on licenced vehicles and drivers. Like any other vehicle on ANY AIRSIDE.

Apparently they are too busy these days to take extra unscheduled traffic 😀

Much more likely Teesside doesn't hold stocks of fuel sufficient to cope with half a dozen "splash and goes" at the drop of a hat, not to mention that some of the airlines may not have handling contracts or fees agreements with MME, such as they do at EMA for example.

Here's the airports press release, so doesn't look like anything else for now. So who has operated these routes before - EasyJet and Vueling for BCN, Jet2 and Aer Lingus Regional for ORK - anybody else?

Have Air France curt their evening flight permanently.
It used to leave around 16:40 - can't see it on any schedules well into next year.

In fact some days there is only 1 flight a day.

On another note, the Riga flight last weekend that I was on was full both ways.

The Air France schedule seems to be 12-14 flights a week at the moment. Th late afternoon flight has operated a couple of times, on a random basis, but as you say, no sign of it returning full time yet. With all the problems KLM are having at AMS though, wouldnt surprise me to see it come back at some point.

I've been on the Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt quite a few times this year and it's always been busy.

Looks like it's a Embraer E90 in the schedule starting tomorrow, so slightly more capacity (and a more comfortable experience in my opinion) than the CRJ900 that has been working the route so far.

now 1627 and it has disappeared from the Board......Flight Radar show it as a scheduled service B738........maybe this is a future route not yet announced?
