Being the end if the business day the 2 flights tend to be busy coming into Belfast, much like the morning flight out is normally full. One of the aircraft is Exeter based, which would otherwise have nothing to do for a couple of hours at LCY, so it operates to Belfast

Very quiet at Belfast City this morning, FlyBE managed to dispatch a couple of early departures but all other movements now cancelled for the morning due to fog. Visibility < 200 metres at 08:30.

Not a good day for Flybe at Exeter yesterday. Edinburgh went tech on arrival which resulted in a severe delay to the Jersey/Guernsey. All Manchester inbounds delayed including a divert to Newquay and morning London City 30mins late.
Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam also delayed. The later severely in the evening.

Do you have any idea what is going to SEN then? It has been all but confirmed that REL and REM will be going to IOM so that leaves SEN without an aircraft; and REI has recieved EIR branding.

Whilst I admire that you have the time to go through old posts in the hope of successfully finding something to quote, the post to which you refer was published with a bit of sarcasm as at the time some people on here were giving frequent - almost daily updates. The fact that I have not posted anything similar since will give you a good enough understanding that actually I couldn't give a flying s**t when there is a delay.

New AT76 G-FBXA called-by in Dublin last night, looks like it was part of a round-the-Isles trip: Exeter - Birmingham - Leeds - Belfast City - Dublin - Exeter.
Certainly wasn't a Scandinavian accent though.

SAS are only wet leasing ATR's from Flybe so I assume all crews will be British?
The first two scheduled for delivery at Exeter have some 40 training flights booked before November....!

That's a lot of training flights! Isn't much of that more typically done in simulators these days?
There was a story a few years ago about a US CRJ crew whose first revenue flight on-type was also their first flight on-type, everything having been done in the sim previously.

The SAS ATRs will be crewed by local pilots once it's in situ with SAS. There's a couple of UK Flybe pilots trained on it, namely the fleet technical manager and the deputy.
I'm not sure about that CRJ story, but then I'm not clued up on the procedures in the USA, but over here that would never happen where both crews are flying their first fight in an aircraft on a revenue earning flight.

Cloud 1, like you I find reading about delays uninteresting. But, just because you don't like to read about them doesn't mean people should stop posting about them, this isn't your thread to police.
Delays do go hand in hand with airline operations after all and I assume you wouldn't mind people posting about Flybe's excellent OTP?
