The SAS ATRs will be crewed by local pilots once it's in situ with SAS. There's a couple of UK Flybe pilots trained on it, namely the fleet technical manager and the deputy.
I'm not sure about that CRJ story, but then I'm not clued up on the procedures in the USA, but over here that would never happen where both crews are flying their first fight in an aircraft on a revenue earning flight.
