Flybe have had a terrible day at Inverness.

LCY flights cancelled (including the one I was booked on)

Was reprotected on 0715 this morning: also cancelled. BE rebooked us (through gritted teeth?) on EZY to Gatwick. Also paid for last nights hotel and dinner!

Was that because of the runway excursion?

Quite possibly, as far as I'm aware the NQY birds are being kept flight ready by apple aviation at NQY.
Of the three E95s sitting here, 1 has no engines so I hope that one isn't flight-ready ^^

One of them gets regular engine run-ups and brake checks etc as far as I can tell. Not sure about the other.

Any word on when the aircraft at BFS will re-enter service? Rumour here is that it will not be ready to leave before the end of February!

Any idea what is happening with the SEN Stobart aircraft? Should have slimmed down to a single plane now. Which one is still in use and has the other gone back to Stobart/Aer Lingus Regional (Dublin?) yet?

Both aircraft were at SEN when I was there yesterday with EI-REM doing the flying. I think on Wednesday it was EI-REL that flew all the schedules.

FlyBe's share price is down below £1 for the first time in a year. The market seems to be nervous ahead of next Friday's interim management statement. Maybe some disappointing news has leaked out ahead of the announcement

Well down at 90p, according to a newsletter I've just received they are this week's worst performer, down over 15% and that in a rising market too.

Yes, in the absence of any real news it looks increasingly like a leak of some bad news in next week's Q3 numbers.

The market hasn't taken kindly to today's interim management statement - share price down below 70p.

Details at Q3 2014/15 TRADING UPDATE

LCY looks to be proving difficult - not really a surprise. See also confirmation that FlyBe are still seeking to get rid of the 195s, with this summer's 195 programme being a tactical use of the aircraft pending their disposal. And FlyBe appears to be locked into unpleasant fuel hedges....

Seeing as they don't answer my tech support request, does anyone on here know whether they are removing the 6060 guarantee?
The link is on the homepage but you get http 404 error - page not found

Arh.....the webpage is now working, and you are correct it's only flights before 21 Nov.

When did they change that policy ?

The policy was changed back in November in response to the Jet2 and Thomson appeal to the Supreme Court over EU261 being turned down.

Any clues as to what's planned for the 4 aircraft ABZ base?

Current schedule shows a reasonable sized decrease in frequency on BHX & MAN.

Noticed some E175's in unusual places today:

Operating SOU-AGP. What about all the talk that the 175 was not suitable to operate this route off SOU's runway? (whilst appreciating it's probably more possible in mid-Winter than it might be in mid-Summer)

Operating SYY-GLA. Normally a Loganair operated route (under franchise).

175's/195's

Wycombe

Indeed the 175 operated SOU-AGP-SOU today but as you say mid August to early Feb must be a big difference in operational performance. They are currently operating BHX - Florence but last summer's OTP was a disaster until the 175 was replaced by the 195.

The SYY - GLA was a FR24 error and the aircraft was actually flying Rejykavik under call-sigh BEE3VC but the was displayed as SYY-???.

175's/195's

Has the plans been finalised for this summer?

The last time I went through the schedule 10 x 175's were scheduled (8 BHX and 2 MAN) with one sitting around until 5pm at BHX. The 195's were allocated 2 to SOU and 1 EXT but per the BHX thread there is a Kefalonia from BHX and is that still operating and I presume on the 195?

Pete

Thanks Pete, I did wonder if the 175 up north was a FR24 error.

The aforementioned app. reckons the SOU 175 is off to ALC early in the morning. The 195 seems to be operating mainly to GVA, with Q400's going to CMF, GNB, SZG and doing the charter to ILD (Lleida, for Andorra).
