November 2015 pax figures up 7.1%

https://www.birminghamairport.co.uk/...wth-this-year/

Obviously suffered a bit due to the Sharm, Lufthansa and other weather cancellations (not at the BHX end).

Estimates were around 10% up originally but until the provisional stats are out we will have to wait and see how individual routes performed. Actually on this matter the CAA website has been updated and I can't find any provisional stats and if anyone can provide a new link it would be appreciated.

November Provisional stats

Ringwayman

Cheers for that - I had got that far but the estimated release date for provisional November stats don't appear, in fact for November I could only find the estimated release date for the actual figures and even then they got the wrong year.

I assume the November ones will appear when they are published and there isn't an estimate release date.

EK @ BHX

Birmingham must be the worlds smallest (certainly in terms of passengers) to be served by A380. Several European capitals OSL ARN come to mind don't see it!
A real success story for Birmingham airport and the wider Midlands region.

Does that involve installing a dual airbridge?

54C has a double airbridge already, I understand that a 3rd (upper deck) is currently being added.

I was thinking the same re QR.

Also, while the politicians dither over LHR/LGW etc, the market in the region is letting actions speak loader than words...

Do Air France no longer fly the A380 to Abidjan, Ivory Coast. I thought that route held the honour?

Great news for BHX.

Close Daza as Prague is getting A380s of EK think from May16.

They are just 500,000 passengers ahead of us.Think we are still the smallest though in Europe ?

Great news for Brum A nice early Christmas present.

But guys....don't give up your day jobs to go into marketing will you? Good news and all you're taking about is BHX being the smallest this and that?
Seriously though... Happy Christmas.

nwoody2001.

Stand 54 is still in use the EK 77W was on it today.

I suspect they will wait until the new air bridge arrives before they close it.

Three brand new APUs arrived for the upgrade few weeks back though.
