I don't think the 757's would make a leg to Sandford... I could be wrong. TATL to Boston, New York, Chicago and Atlanta is well and good but going down to Florida is adding an extra ~1000km if not more, I don't think there's enough give for that.

It would with a re-fueling stop in Bangor

Yes but wouldn't refuelling in Bangor be going back in time 10 years? At the end of the day why fly jet2 to Florida on a 757 that's made for short haul when you can fly direct with Thomson or Thomas cook? It wouldn't make sense to me!

Yes I agree but remember that an awful lot of people go to Orlando via Chicago, New York or Atlanta, so one short re-fueling stop may have some merit particularly if the price is right.

Is there any chance that BLK might get the wingleted 737 for next years dalaman/tenerife runs, would it be of any advantage to them off BLK's short runway?

With the unfortunate failure of Air Finland today, could Jet2 potentially purchase some of their aicraft, especially as the two 757s leased from Allegiant appear to be returning at the end of the summer?

I always enjoyed a short refuelling stop at BGR. Was a chance to stretch one's legs & for pax there was the benefit of clearing US immigration more easily there, at a time when MCO was notorious for how long it took pax to clear the terminal.

Pula has been showing in the drop down list of destinations from Newcastle for about a week now but it is not bookable, anyone know if this will be announced or is it more likely a mistake?

Not sure you'll get the answer you wish on a "professional pilots forum" (if it can really be classed as such now)
Perhaps try here

On my recommendation a family group booked with Jet2 from Manchester to Tenerife, out Sat 23 June PM return Sat 30 June late PM.
On arrival at MAN on 23/6 given letter saying their Flight was with Strategic while on 30/6 went to Gate at Tenerife to find flight back on same plane but no letter this time. Are Jet2 using Strategic permanently on this round trip?

I feel let down because they had poor flight experience both ways. The legroom was terrible and they had paid to reserve seats but were put at opposite end of plane to what they wanted on both legs. No offer from Jet2 of return of seat reservation fees.

Also while the outward trip was 2 passengers the return booking was 3. Online checkin system couldn't cope with this and wouldn't print boarding card for the 3rd passenger who was then charged over 20 euros to get boarding card at the desk at Tenerife.

They are not happy with my recommendation!
