What the hell are you on about?
We were discussing capital cities flown from Cardiff of course there is NO relevance in a city being a capital city or not and I think we are all aware that there are plenty of big and important cities in Europe that aren't capitals as there are all over the world, had you read the previous posts as to why capital cities served from Cardiff had been mentioned.

Do you need to throw this thread in a totally different direction it's not needed, I'm not sure that you read the previous posts as to why it was discussed in the first place.
I am not replying to your statement as it's irrelevant to this discussion!

Exactly, all that really matters is that CWL have secured Iberia Express and will start MAD flights and Flybe will start FCO.
Hopefully more to follow, anymore news with regards to the Q400 operating the LCY flights as of next week ? Is it going to be parked up in between flights ?

Make you think what the previous owners were doing (or not doing) wonder where Cardiff would have been had they courted airlines and made the investment. Obviously it would be nowhere near other airports but we should have been on a good couple of million pax a year.

Yet Another new route for Cardiff- Guernsey.
Just looking through Flybe website for Cardiff departures and Guernsey is bookable from March. Is this the new Blue Islands service under Flybe franchise

It's previously been reported that Blue Islands have been granted the application to serve GCI-CWL-GCI route for Flybe....
Nothing public though about it, Flybe are most probably showing this via JER and not direct, not sure if the full BE schedule has been loaded yet though so there maybe the addition of GCI coming.......
Be good for yet another new route announcement

Could this be the reason why no Channel Island flights are listed after March 2017 ? Especially as we all know Blue Islands have been awarded the route.
I would have expected them to be on sale by now.....maybe we will see 1 or 2 flights a week to GCI with Blue Islands on top of the JER flights...
Wait and see I suppose

You bringing the capitals up once again!
GCI as in Guernsey and JER as in Jersey are both islands within the Channel Islands not capitals, both islands are crown dependencies of HM Government and are part of the United Kingdom, St Peter Port is the capital of the Island of Guernsey and St Helier is the capital of the island of Jersey.
You really are being antagonistic with this topic and especially as you refer to CWL as 'Rhoose Village'
What's your grudge against anything regarding Cardiff?

Looks like BE have now got in a Jota Aviation RJ-85 for this weeks LCY route, replacing the CityJet RJ-85 that's returned to DUB this evening.....
Quite a nice selection of Avro's operating this for BE until they source their crew and aircraft to operate in their own colours

this is only the second rj 85 to operate the route.
I'm sure they will have the crew end of this week. the thing with lcy is getting trained crew from the ranks or train new crew to operate the route.

If WOW Air are pulling out of BRS, wouldn't that be a good airline for CWL to knab ?
They are saying there was not enough passengers but surely the presence of EZY on the same route didn't help the situation ?
No-one serves KEF from CWL and would be good for connections to Canada and the USA.
But suppose if they couldn't get it to work for BRS then doubt it would be a success for CWL
