Thomson Airways
CPT was on First Choice's radar with the 787 pre-merger so it may be a route added one day...

752's are pretty much the standard for Egypt from LGW, especially in high season. Occasionally I have seen 738's when it's the quieter part of the season or when additional flights are put on or the less popular flights go out.
But yeah, chances are high you'll be in a 752.

All we've heard is they are planning a weekly rotation on 787 from Lgw man & possibly GLA, don't know what days they will be, but when making a booking it should tell you planned a/c type.

Not sure, but one of this mornings departures, was delayed with a thrust reverse
problem. That's what they told my brother who got shipped from Chambery to Grenoble,as the flight was diverted there, after a late dept. from Manchester.
Aircraft type, 757.
Jub.

Tui 787s
line #149 is latest line # delivered (BBJ/Saudi Ministry of Finance)
line #182 should be going into the factory for assembly late this week / early next week (ARKE fly PH-TFK)
line #191 is G-TUIE
line #198 is G-TUIF
Boeing say they should be running production at 10/12 a month
so: #182 is maybe 2-2.5 months from delivery and the other two should be 4 weeks and 6 weeks behind
(guesswork!)
Do they really reconfigure the seating when switching G-TUIA - G-TUID between TOM and BLX? ... the aircraft seem to swap around very frequently.

I have seen photos of G-OOBD, G-OOBE, and G-OOBF painted in TCS & Starquest Expedition colours.
I take it they weren't all operating for Starquest at the same time? Did Thomson rotate the aircraft around each winter?

Is the flying programme of the 3 short haul 767's known for Summer 14 yet?
I presume 1 each at LGW & MAN and the other as spare. I would like to catch one before they eventually go.
Thanks

LAX2000, I was thinking the same, although I didn't realize there will only be 3 left this summer!
I wish one could do a dummy booking like you can with TCX and MON, and get to the seat map! No such luck with TOM.
