Cheers PAARMO.....and a very Merry Christmas to you!!!

I normally save my merry christmas greetings on the air traffic frequency until the last ten minutes of my last shift before Christmas.....doesn't take long for the pilots to twig that I'm finishing for Christmas!!!

Shame that my last shift of the cycle this year lands me with a Christmas Day Afternoon shift!!!

Look forward to hearing from any of you Thomson guys about the Santa flight....and maybe any of the guys crewing it that day!!

My previous post was deleted, but it related to NCL - didn't read NCL thread (sorry mod's)

However, does anyone know when flights/holidays for next november will be on sale or are they currently? If so, will the MAN-PUJ continue for next winter? Many thanks

I saw a full-looking TOM 757 depart out of LTN earlier today (Tuesday am).

When I asked, I was told it was flying direct to KBGR.

Out of interest, was that a pax flight or a ferry and what would the final destination have been?

Man-puj

I cannot see why it wouldn't it has been a long running programme of both First Choice and Thomson holidays for some time now.

Its a good resort with a loyal and new following each year I have taken many passengers out who recognised me from "last years holiday to Punta Cana"

Brochures are out at some point this month according to the travel agents, I have seen the new ones at HO last month very briefly, as they were sat on someones desk. I didn't see any new exciting destinations or notice any main destinations missing like the recent cullings I mentioned above- those stuck out to me like a sore thumb.

The 757 that departed LTN this morning to BGR was a positioning flight en-route to FLL for the start of another 21day Round-The-World charter

it would be nice to see the TOM recaro seats make it into the ex FCA 757s whilst expensive to do they are much nicer with the extra bit of knee room provided by putting the seat pockets in the headrest part of the seat

maybe the new TOM could swap some of the seats as they return certain aircraft to lessors so they can keep the recaro's.....

It depends if it is an airbus, 737-300, 737-800, 757 or 767!

Unlikely to be an exit seat as these are sold at a premium as extra legroom seats.

As you've been allocated two seats, as a PRM you'll be unlikely to be allowed in an exit seat.

Sorry, couldn't resist it!!!

They are exit seats only if on a 757 !. They are right at the exit that will probably be in use though so you will get bashed and bumped as the pax come on. Wait till near the end, and the overhead locker space will only be behind you. Watch its not too cold and drafty. The seals on those 757s can occasionally be a bit drafty ! 12 A is NOT a premium seat albeit 12B is !

In response to paying to sit next to each other, your seats will be allocated for your party before you even come to the airport. If you come to check in early, there might be a possibility that your seat can be changed, however this all depends on who elses seats have been allocated, usually those who have paid to sit by each other or those who are not having meals. Don't expect to come at the end of check in and choose your seats as there more than likely will be no seats together for your party and you will have to make do with what has been assigned.

Lanzarote from Exeter

Anyone know what type is flying the route above next March? Would this be a Thomson (charter), Thomsonfly (loco) or ex-First Choice charter flight?

Thanks.

Sounds good to me. I always thought First Choice were a bit better than some, so I wonder whether that will be lost when they're fully integrated into Thomson.

No Tel Aviv Summer flights from Manchester yet

Still no flights bookable for Tel aviv for summer 2009. Rumour has it that is has been pulled.

Any one know why, it seemed very busy route last year?
