Hi,

does anybody know why TOM offers NCL-PUY 2014 flights only as a package or is it an error? Only flights are not bookable.

thx, flyOU

nsherrin15. Did you get that info from the company? There shouldn't be any 75/76 pilots left at Cardiff by summer 2014, unless your info is newer than mine.

It usually depends on airline licencing issues or more specifically what licence you have applied for / been granted by the local authority. For that route it seems that Thomson have been granted a licence by the Croatian authorities to operate charter packages but not for flight only. It could also be a simple mistake on the booking website.

I have just checked this out, you can book a flight only from NCL-PUY via their viewdata platform for travel agents, maybe just a fault on the website??!

Flt. 591 BVC - LGW seems to be descending into Portugal or Spain.

Surely it's not a fuel stop? Problem on board maybe.

Pretty high rate of descent too.

The SID - MAN flight also landed at Faro.

I guess this must be fuel stops.

I could understand a BVC fuel stop if the weather conditions really aren't favourable due to the runway length, but SID has 10,000ft of runway!

Both are now departing Faro to LGW and MAN.

It looks like G-DBLA has now been withdrawn from service. Only 3 ex first choice aircraft left in the fleet.

Looks like Thomson are having a re think on there operation to Sharm this winter

In view of the current climate out there and a fall in bookings
they have decided to cut the following services over the winter period

Exeter , Bournemouth , Leecs , Belfast

Exeter and Bournemouth have been replaced with an extra Lanzarote flight

EDI Winter 13/14 & Summer 14

Anyone know what TOM will be operating from EDI over the winter? I know Geneva & Innsbruck have been dropped.

Does anyone know what TOM will base at EDI next summer?

TOM is not dropping EDI-GVA and EDI-INN. These are confirmed and operated for Thomson/Crystal Ski.

Ah sorry its justbi looked on flightmapper and they werent listed as being operated. Im guessing it will be operated by 757 as last year. I know EDI has gain a few new services for over the winter with a mix of 73/757.
