Befree with respect that is not answering my question.

You say "we have been given lots of spin by the boss" that almost sounds like you work for the company, which if you do I find quite disturbing.

You have persistantly posted negative comments on a company that has been ground breaking in the industry and achieved many positive things in a very short space of time, that a lot of people thought would be unachievable.

Silverjet has proved many people wrong and will continue to do so, you included.

You have also posted on the Cabin crew Silverjet forum much negativity so I ask you again please let us know what your daily issue is with the company and why you want it to fail so desperately.

Freedom of information act!!! As a share holder I wouldn't mind knowing the facts either!

Silverjet is a public company, therefore the public should be right up there in knowing the financial situation of the airline for which they invest.

But i'm really happy as the share price is going up!! c'mon Silverjet! make me rich!!

Silverjet

According to the latest TTG article LH is talking about airports paying them to fly there. I would have thought that these are airports which are close to major hubs - any thoughts?

Luton -
Chicago Midway - runway too short?
Fort Lauderdale - not enough room? - Cruise Market
Orlando - (Sanford?)
Houston Hobby
Burbank/Los Angeles
Oakland/San Francisco
Las Vegas
Mumbai
Johannesburg
Moscow
Barbados

Manchester - Newark
Dubai - Singapore/Hong Kong/Mauritius

Ban Befree

So befree your on a personal vendetta against my Boss? (I see you have deleted the post were you said you hated Laurance Hunt and his team)

LH is a top boss and business man who has created and developed a fantastic award winning Airline product in a very short time. Silverjet is doing very well. I should know I work there and see first hand what is going on behind the scenes. If it wasnt doing well I would be looking for another job... but I am not looking for a new job, far from it. I dont worry about my job security and I am as happy as a pig in pork droppings!

befree, you have consistantly ranted negetive rubbish and lies about Silverjet on multiple forums and websites... You even seem to have been sucessfull in persuading some cabin crew and flight deck to decline offers of employment with Silverjet. now that is just not on.

You seem to have serious issues beyond the scope of either a humble professional aviator or an Aviation enthusiast. these issues in my opinion do not belong on an Aviation website.

Mods can we please ban this person? befree is clearly not an aviation buff, but simply on a mission against Silverjet and its Leader.

Please - I would love to see Silverjet thrive. LH is a savvy businessman who has been in the travel industry for many years - I cannot see how you can say they are going to fail just because of one or two setbacks.

Looking at befree's posts, he obviously has some grudge against SJ and its boss. Perhaps he is an investor who bought in at £2 - who knows? He seems determined to hide the reason for his spite.

However, he's very badly wrong when it comes to corporate governance. Listed companies have to make certain announcements to the markets first, and in such a way as to treat all shareholders equally. However, there are no such restrictions on positively promoting a company's progress. In fact, Mr Hunt could be seen as not doing his job properly if he didn't speak positively about his business. PR announcements are deliberately couched in general terms, and the market professionals know not to take too much notice of such information. If the company has to make a profit warning, it will be clear to the market, and I'm certainly not aware of any such warning.

The slide in share price is as much to do with macro-economic factors as SJ itself - fuel prices, credit crunch, threatened recession, etc. In fact, SJ seems to be coping fairly well with this economic storm.

I too wish them success

So for everybody that has taken an interest in your postings now knows that Befree is a shareholder who has lost money in Silverjet shares because they invested at the start and watched the share price plummet.

Ok so your frustrated because the stockmarket has collapsed recently and some of your stock is Silverjet.

You clearly know far more about stocks and shares than I. However you would have surely known that airline stocks are fairly risky at the best of times. Indeed most investor websites warn that you might not get back what you put in because at the end of the day whatever you invest in is a gamble.

I don't think you can blame Lawrence Hunt for the rise in oil prices either or the odd ill informed piece of journalism that gets in the press which hasn't helped the share price.

The team behind the company has been around for a very long time and know all the legalities when releasing information to the city.

You obviously need the share price to increase to recoup what you have lost and by persistantly posting negative vibes on here trying to muddy the company name, putting people off is surely not going to help your cause.

Let me assure you and other investors and future members off staff reading this, the company is taking lots of money through the tills at present. 25% of our customers this month are repeat customers and the loads this month have been strong.

Do not be put off by the comments this sour investor is posting.

Befree you say that you have nothing against the people that work for the company. This is not the way it is coming across as it is construed from your postings that you want the company to fail thus putting many nice people down the job centre.

We live in a world of spin you need to deal with it. I ask you to leave our company alone or as a group we will ensure that you are removed permanently from this website.

Befree

Just to clarify, Befree has been consistant throughout his/her postings since 8 March 2007. He/she has claimed that SilverJet will fail, advising shareholders to SELL from here onwards. He/She has already been banned from a financial forum (www,iii.co.uk as "I Am Myself") but has returned as "I have been killed"

On numerous occasions, they have been accused on working for BA or a competitor, yet have refused to respond to any accusations, so I doubt they have ever purchased SilverJet shares.

Previously to this they have tried similar tactics against RyanAir and EasyJet (but have previously supported EasyJet).

This person is not to blame for the current SilverJet position, although they consitantly add salt to the wounds of SilverJet shareholders or employees.

Whatever he/she calls themselves... befree, i am myself or i have been killed. Its all a bit too much dont you think?

Something about Silverjet definately has got befree's knickers in a twist. I dont think it's share dealings from what EMA has pointed out but maybe failing a job interview at SJet, past dealings with Mr Hunt or Working for a rival Airline... Whatever the reason there is serious malice behind befree's posts...

Befree seems to have a chronic hatred of Silverjet and its Management. There is no place on pprune for someone like this.

I repeat from my last posting that this person has issues that are not of an aviation professional or enthusiast nature and should be banned from pprune!

I will also join postern in assuring any prospective staff and investors that Silverjet is doing great and the future is looking Good!

I will now have a Pprune holiday before my blood pressure gets too high

Silverjet have an excellent product, but that product has a price. It would seem that neither Hunt nor his army of 'breakfast directors' have been able to establish what that price is. If they had, they would realise that the model is doomed to fail. It’s a guy with a dream, but no relevant experience in this industry. However, I have to take my hat off to him. He has done an excellent job finding gullible investors with money to throw away.

I don't like the hand held video monitors for the in-flight entertainment, would much prefer a seat back or at least some kind of permanent screen.

The current ones take up too much space on the table and keep getting knocked over.

OPS comment

OPS, you are correct in your summary about Befree.

Although Befree tries to only state what they call facts, their reporting is ALWAYS bias towards the negative ones. I don't think I have seen one positive comment from them.

The fixation they have with the numbers provided by SilverJet (Pax figures and accounts) are obviously extremely important, yet they fail to realise that SilverJet is a new (less than 3 years old) company, and losses are expected in the short-term.

In my opinion, SilverJet offer an excellent service and exceptional prices. During this so called Credit Crunch, businesses will be looking to get staff onto cheaper airline seats. Some will go from business to economy, but some will opt to stay business class, thus SilverJet will see numbers grow. The seat sale was not a fire sale as some claimed, but a tried and tested marketing plan to lure more people to try their product, with the idea that once tried, they will want to return.

As with all start-up airlines, there are risks. I think SilverJet have a good chance that they will survive.

Profit ?

According to Travelmole today Silverjet had 65% loads in February selling 8829 seats out of 13800 to NYC and DXB.
LH made a statement as follows:-
The board is making every effort to ensure that SJ will acheive it,s first month of operating profit and be cash generative in March"
Let us hope that this occurs !

DH dragon (no problem with load factors on me)

Pabely,

He/she is probably down at the local job centre, it's a Monday and I believe this is the "signing back on or loose your money day".

Tongue firmly in cheek obviously.....
