In the short to medium term, loads on a charter are irrelevant- the charter company pays for the flight, and has to worry about ticket sales meeting the cost.
In the long term, we hope the charter company makes a profit- or they won't be chartering aircraft any more!

Think you may find that it will be Midland ac like the current TXL and MXP routes. But LH (Menzies) check it in, board it and do all the ticketing. And its Midlands crews that just op the flight on behalf of LH. Cos BD do have some spare airframes to deal with. Unless they are handing some back soon.
I may be wrong. Pls say so if i am.

Slightly off topic, I am looking for some assistance in locating some lost property, that was left on the BD131 LHR-DUB yesterday, 20/02.
Don't know of there is any of you that are based out of DUB (I assume dublin.dispatch may be???) that could ask around?

I was looking at flying TXL-LHR in march/april, and noticed Bmi have an extra rotation on the route departing at 9pm aprox, so now 4 daily as opposed to 3 daily. This flight is operated as a bmi flight (BD848) rather than a lufthansa operated by bmi flight.

The picture isn't so bad now. No cabin crew going until October, and then it will be more like 47.
10 flight deck going now sadly and another 14 at risk in October.
So the figures have come right down. Although it's hard to know how many jumped before they were pushed.

A sizeable amount jumped before they were pushed and dont forget 35 crew from DUB being forced out. It just shows how Lufty run things and if it saves the company then i'm all for it.
Is bmi now using british midland international as part of their advertising campaign?? i aks because i've seen 1 lonely poster in LHR with it under the main bmi logo and on one of my flights the flight supervisor intrdoduced by saying " on behalf of bmi, british midland & british midland international we would ......" talk about confusing you brand!!
