Looks like good news for ABZ at least as they must have been in the same situ as MME.

Keep us all posted as you seem well informed.

Think ABZ is a good strong little base, maybe they'll see some expansion in a couple of years to 2 A/C base.

CEO of GSM had said that there would be at least 1 new route from ABZ for S09. Looks like it's IBZ, however, another rotation could be added Tuesday after PFO flight. Maybe PUY/DBV/ACE?

GSM are in talks with ABZ to introduce more routes from ABZ over Summer. Might even be a couple of extra night flights, ACE, LPA, etc.

If the 787 actually turns up at GSM, I will quite happily sit in the middle of the runway of any airport of anyone's choosing and eat my uniform with a knife and fork.

What do you think is GSM abandoning MME?

There must be some route changes planned BCN from GLA & EDI down to 3x weekly also wednesdays seem to be kept free on alot of routes putting them down from daily to 6x daily on routes like ALC and Faro.

New destination from GLA, EDI and ABZ - Dalaman.

weekly flights from 3 scottish airports. Looks like that's all the routes we will be getting for S09. Only the longhaul to go. Canadian routes only. Florida is 6 weekly from GLA, and weekly from BFS, using up the B763. The other B763 will be used for YYC, YVR. The B752 will be used for YHM flights.

Shame for MME but you could tell that they were slowly pulling out. Though there loss is GLA, EDI & ABZ's gain though ABZ has lost BCN.

Think there will be many changes to the canadian programme maybe bring back the 3 763's?

Heard a rumor jet2 might be selling there chinese 752's think GSM would be interested in any?

I doubt it,4567. Those aircraft aren't 180 mins ETOPS because they have the small battery packs.
